RCA Student Culinology® Competition People’s Choice Pitch
During RCA Powered Up, the four finalist teams for the RCA Student Culinology® Competition posted a video of their limited time menu item that was inspired by the San Diego area.

RCA Powered Up attendees voted on the people's choice video, and Team Aloha – Taylor’s University won with the most votes!

Evolution of Food Waste Product Development Student Presentations
To meet the demands of the evolving food industry, the RCA created the Evolution of Food Waste Product Development Student Competition in 2016. Established by the RCA Student Committee, the Evolution of Food Waste Competition challenges student teams to formulate commercialized products, increase nutritional content through value-added processing, and troubleshoot cost reduction strategies repurposing byproduct ingredients historically considered food waste.
